Any transaction or creation of a Black Shimmer Account, is deemed that the customer has agreed and will adhere to all terms and conditions.

Access to Black Shimmer Website

This site has been established to allow visits on a temporary basis only and we reserve the right to withdraw any service without prior notice.

During upgrades to our site access to specific pages may be restricted. When accessing particular pages of the website customers may be required to register an account before proceeding to purchase goods or services.

Ownership of Intellectual Property

It is an offence to use or store any specific content relating directly to Black Shimmer for commercial purposes.  To request permission and licence to use any Black Shimmer information, please do not hesitate to contact:  suppliers@blackshimmer.co.uk

If any organisation is found to be in breach of these terms our only option will be to have the property returned and destroyed.

Accuracy of Content

Black Shimmer has ensured that all gift, product and service descriptions provide a true and accurate depiction and are of a high quality.  Every price quoted for an item is correct at time of publishing, although we reserve the right to change a description or price at any time.  All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling and are inclusive of the current VAT percentage for the UK.  

Clothing and larger gift descriptions include a sizing guide.  We have ensured it is as accurate as possible however they have to be considered as approximate measurements.  We cannot ensure the accuracy of home computer monitors to display the true colour of our products.  We will however consider a ‘goodwill exchange’ if the product does not meet your satisfaction.

The Black Shimmer Website contains related legal notices on pages to inform and guide our customer on specific legal entitlements and our terms & conditions.

Promotions

Customers who wish further information and regular updates on specific promotions are recommended to register an account with Black Shimmer.  There is no obligation to buy however it provides the latest information being updated to our Website.  We respect all customers rights to privacy and all communications are reviewed continually, this avoids sending unnecessary newsletters or material.  Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further details.

Payment

The Black Shimmer Website utilises the latest security measures, please refer to our privacy policy for further details.  When customers place orders, transactions are only accepted once full credit or debit cards details are submitted. SagePay has been contracted to process our online payments.  These payments are processed at the same time as your order and may only take a few days for the full amount to be credited from your account.

Links

Any legitimate organisation may link to the Black Shimmer Home Page, provided this is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation in any way.  Links are NOT permitted that suggest an association or endorsement where none exists.  We therefore reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without prior notice if we believe the company is being negatively affected by any link.

Black Shimmer provides a small number of links to other sites to provide customer assistance.  We have no control once a customer has chosen to enter these sites and are not responsible for their practices or your security while using these sites.

Computer Misuse

The Black Shimmer Website must not be used for any misuse including introducing viruses or downloading malicious material that may be harmful. This includes unauthorised access to the site.  These practices are illegal under the Computer Misuse Act 1990 and will be reported immediately to relevant law enforcement authorities.  All information will be disclosed and your actions will be forced to cease.

We are not liable for any damage to personal equipment or programmes caused by denial of service attack or any other form of computer virus.

Availablity

Customer satisfaction is of greatest importance to us and we try to ensure that all products are available when ordered.  All products are unfortunately subject to availability or delays, we will e-mail you as soon as possible if a product is not in stock and offer some alternative product or delivery date suggestions.  If these are not suitable a full refund will be transferred back to your account in approximately two weeks.  A further e-mail will be send at that time confirming the transaction is complete.

Gifts & Giftwrapping Service

At present we are not able to offer customers and gift wrapping service.  All registered customers will receive an e-mail confirming when this service is available.
