If any of our products do not meet your satisfaction or have a minor defect, it is your right to request a refund or exchange.  Contact must be made with Black Shimmer within 7 days of purchase to receive your full payment back.

Return of a Gift Item

As long as you have received your gift, you can receive a refund or exchange.  Contact must be made with Black Shimmer within 7 days of purchase to receive your full money back.  Proof of purchase is require in this case.

Return Terms & Conditions

Before returning any products or gift to Black Shimmer, please follow the simple instructions: Within the returning package please include your full name and contact details, a short explaination why you are returning the product and if you require a refund or exchange.

• Earrings cannot be returned or exchanged, due to health and safety.  Black Shimmer will only consider a refund due to product defects.

• A refund/exchange will only be accepted if the product is in a re-saleable condition.  If the product has been used or damaged we reserve the right NOT to refund and will NOT re-send the product to the customer. Items must be returned in an appropriate condition. Returning Address: Customer Services @ Shimmer, 40 Dalrymple Street, Girvan. KA26 9AE.

• We will NOT be considered liable for any loss or damage that may occur to any product while in the possesion of our customers. Any warranties for products will be honoured with proof of purchase.

• Please allow up to 7 days, once the returned product has been received by Black Shimmer. The refund of the item will then be credited back to the account details given to purchase the original product. Once the funds have been credited back into the customers account you will receive an e-mail message confirming that the transfer is complete. No cash refunds are permitted under any circumstance. Please note we reserve the right not to refund the cost of postage.

Cancellations or Mistakes with an Order

Once customer details and an order is submitted, our staff immediately action your order. As many products and gifts are received within days of purchase, it therefore can be difficult to cancel an order. We cannot recall a product once it has been posted to you.  If you do receive the product and it does not meet your requirements, then we will consider a refund.
